They are playing a bait and switch game. Whoever emerges as nominee is unimportant - it is the VP pick they are hoping will carry the ticket to a win...in the end, after the election is done Biden will be declared unfit and his VP will be the new POTUS...expect it to be a female

You raise a valid point there, and these days I wouldn't put anything past the Democrats. We'll see I suppose, but more favorably Trump will get re-elected.
