Great article @SpikeTalon as always, thanks for sharing 👍

Teachers are generally very timid and domesticated creatures. In the current climate of lefties getting offended over literally anything, and suing you and forcing you to leave your job, it's no wonder teachers submiss to leftist idealogies in fear of their livelihoods

Our education system was one of the best in the world until 1979. Schools taught history. They taught civics. When Jimmy Carter formed the Department of Education, that gave the the government the opportunity to inject policy and fundamentally change from what needed to be taught to what THEY needed to be taught. Most teachers do the absolute best they can with what they’re given. But what they’re given now is boys in girls bathrooms, drag queen presentations, abortion without parental consent, the list goes on for miles. The fox is guarding the hen house........

Schools teach leftism, primarily because of our apathy. All teachers are employees first, & teachers, second. Anybody wishing to improve the system & get back to teaching individuality & individual responsibility should get him / herself elected to a school board. To effect real & lasting change, slates of like minded candidates will be necessary.

This may be true to some extant and I am for NOT teaching ANYTHING left...but....Industrial rote learning is not good for creative people. If you are a good, very good reader, you might not even need a "teacher guide". The guy who developed quantum theory and theory of relativity, said " Give me an ounce of creativity for all the pounds of university learning" or something close to that. He believed that there was no such thing as intelligence, only being curious and creative. I have come to see that most of society are not very curious. It took me years to see it.

Great article.

I don't think for a second that our Education system will improve one bit, primary to graduate school, but great article.
