Patriotic Americans all across the nation are moving to fiercely defend their Second Amendment Rights in numerous counties and in numerous states, including the Patriotic Counties of Tennessee! Hopefully there are going to be a lot more than just Gibson, Madison and Rutherford County in the Second Amendment Sanctuary movement underway at the moment.

With or without the Second Amendment, 'We the People' cannot be separated from our God-given rights, no matter that a majority of the ignorant masses may attempt just such a thing. The Second Amendment is law telling the Government that it cannot infringe on our right to keep and bear arms, but of late, we are all seeing that the Federal and States' governments are far too willing to simply violate this law.

*** Even if the government suppresses our right, such an action would be illegitimate and illegal.

Our right to self-defense is seen in Nature and Natural Law as Created by God, and no man, no government, no majority has any authority to compel any of us to give up that right and the means to exercise it. Free Born Americans everywhere must refuse to comply with "laws" intended to erode all the other rights, since by their illegitimate nature they are already null and void.

*** All our rights emanate from religious freedom and the First Amendment, but without the Second Amendment, any government of a mind to do so can set about to systematically suppress and abrogate all of Our other God-Given Rights and the entire Bill of Rights, just as Governor Northam and his Democratic communists are already moving to do in Virginia.

*** This is one of the most important battles we may ever wage in our lifetime.

"God given" has always bothered me for some reason. I understand Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but "God given right to guns" just doesn't sound right in my ears. Don't get me wrong, I completely support a man's right to arm himself for protection against other men and the government. But for some reason claiming it comes directly from God just seems a little over the top. It comes from the Bill of Rights, which was written by God-fearing men, but it was written by men. The same men who came to the 3/5ths compromise. Again, I KNOW why that happened, so feel free to keep your slavery lectures to yourselves. It's just always been a kind of personal glitch for me. I'm hoping maybe someone can explain this in a way that makes a little more sense to me....

Nature, and Nature's God. The heritage of our ancestry, environment, and the culture from which we're adapted.

@JustinOSmith you really felt the need to unload on someone huh? Pick a better target next time. I was talking about a personal cognitive dissonance. That's all. As far as ignorance, virtually everything you ranted about, I had already addressed. But clearly, your journalisming skills do not extend to READING WHAT I WROTE. So here we go: I am a Marine. I am an Oathkeeper. I FULLY support the ENTIRE Bill of Rights. I do, however, applaud your many big and obscure words. Here's a few simple ones for you. I didn't attack anything you said. Hopefully you didn't wear out your entire vocabulary on that. That would be a shame. SFMF
