Statistics and polls in this country are so tainted no one gives them a second look. Sadly it is just one more nail in the "I can believe that" coffin.

My mother killed herself with a gun. She did it to herself, and the gun had no say or choice in her decision. People hang themselves with ropes frequently. You can't ban ropes. Maybe one day society will collectively realize that choices dictate almost everything.

Geez, sorry to hear that about your mother.

People, are accountable, not objects. Research motivators.... Find solutions

Sorry Biosphere

@SpikeTalon thanks buddy, it's all good. I only mentioned it because I thought I was one of the rare examples (or exceptions) that's a counter argument to those who have lost loved ones to gun violence/suicide, and then spend the rest of their lives trying to ban firearms. The truth is, if my mother didn't have access to a gun, she would have found another way to end her suffering. Likewise, when a human being is hardcore intent on killing somebody else, they will find a way to accomplish it. Firearms are not the problem, and these left wing liberal ball busters can't seem to understand this concept, and be more open minded to widening the conversation about cause and unbiased solutions.
