Abortion: Nothing is as Destructive as an Abhorrent Idea backed by Zeitgeist

“Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has [finally] come.”

This quote, attributed to Victor Hugo, is by itself an incomplete thought. It’s strikingly deceptive too, when you consider it. Is it applicable to bad ideas as well as good? After all, Mr. Hugo didn’t clarify the “idea” in question as needing to be an actual objective “truth” – simply an idea, for better or for ill, which has a zeitgeist behind it.

History appears to be indiscriminate as to whether the idea be base – even a lie – or noble. Thus, the more accurate application (when truly bad ideas are at the center) is “there is nothing as destructively powerful as a lie whose time has finally come.”

And so is the terror of the abortion lie.

Institutionalized abortion is the single darkest and most abhorrent stain upon our nation’s quarter-millennial history. It is stain of blood, forever tarnishing the souls of misguided or malevolent mothers. For all involved will one day stand accountable before their Creator… as well as before the souls of the children they destroyed and dismembered.

African Slavery: The effects of elective abortion are far more reaching than American slavery ever was. The comparison is not even close. Abortion has been forced on every state of the Union, where slavery was contained to the American South. In total, slaves brought to America against their will numbered about 12.5 million, the overwhelming majority of them under the rule of Spanish and British crowns. When the transcontinental slave trade was constitutionally ended in 1808, the number of slaves in the States was a little over 400,000 climbing to nearly 4,000,000 million by the date of Emancipation.[See footnote 1.] However, innocent carcasses, systematically and electively murdered and then hidden away since Roe v. Wade in 1973, are over 15 times that! [See footnote 2.]

Indigenous Depopulation: Even the devastation of the entire North American indigenous population at the arrival of the Spanish in the New World has now been exceeded in scope and tragedy by the awful scourge of American abortion. Best estimates place the 16th Century atrocity to approximately 50 million lives, most of whom were killed by the unfortunate spread lethal epidemics rather than deliberately malignant conquest. [See footnote 3.] The abhorrent murder of American would-be newborns now exceeds 60 million.

The indefensible claim that one life of an African slave or an Indigenous American is more precious than the life of an innocent unborn child is pathologically delusional. Why would one soul be more worthy in the sight of heaven than another? Those children, in utero and not yet born, have dignity. They are souls worthy of life.

**The “right” to an abortion is a false right that has no “inalienable” basis granted by the Creator.

There is no right to an abortion found in the U.S. Constitution, nor a right to privacy. These are falsified in law.

Abortion is not a light, least of all to the millions of children whose door to life is unalterably closed to them.

Abortion is not a prerogative of women. **

As such, the “it’s woman’s body” argument is not a countervailing argument. It’s a faulty argument and a lie. Babies are not women’s bodies – they are not part of a women’s bodies. They are not property of women or their bodies. Babies are their own beings at EVERY stage of development. They have their own inherent destiny; their own biological potential; their own heartbeat, brain, and flesh. They have their own pain. None of this is “part of the woman” regardless of where the baby incubates.

The “it’s a woman’s choice” argument is not a countervailing argument. It’s not valid because babies DON’T spontaneously self-conceive. The woman already made her choice – she made it when she split her legs. Any woman seeking to excuse herself when she already made a choice to sleep with someone only speaks to the major lack of accountability today’s women increasingly share across the femisphere.

The “it’s a question of women’s health” argument is not determinative AT ALL. Only a narrowly tailored exception should be even considered in these cases (i.e. it’s either her life or the baby’s) and even then the “let’s-go-with-the-mother” choice isn’t always the better. Elective murder for fickle convenience is never alright. If women try to get away with murder under the pretense of bourgeoning women’s health issues, there’s no end to what selfishly ambitious women will aggregate under that consideration. The issue of “women’s health creep” is among the most pervasive of today’s politics.

Whether a child is “alive” is not a question left to women at ANY phase of human development. It’s not a woman’s prerogative to change her mind by ending the mind of another.

Men and women of conscience need to stand against the blood sacrifice of American’s children. This was always a bad idea – and it’s time for a better one.

  • Additionally, only a small percentage of American landowners (let alone American citizens) ever owned a slave, even at the institution’s height, yet in some regions nearly 1 in 5 (20%) of American pregnancies end in elective abortion.

With respect, I am 180' opposite. Glorifying foetuses has no merit. Sad how many block their ears when I say that HITLER?, murderer supreme? That Hitler? His MOTHER? He had a mother who seriously begged for an abortion.

My thesis is EVERY foetus a WANTED foetus from BOTH mother and father. A baby NEEDS both, not just one. The foetus FEELS, KNOWS if it's wanted. Lives in the amniotic fluid either embued with love, acceptance or hostility. And it has an effect.

If you believe in God, then God will see a baby is born if he wants this.

Medical miscarriage should occur within a few weeks before development escalates.

Why is it so many rail about the foetus yet drop interest in the baby born?

That's where the concern must be. With those here.
Let women decide. If you were a woman, tell me in the midst of your career and not ready,
that you'd go ahead? Cheerfully even if raped by a Muslim terrorist?

This is emotionalism without critical thought.

Even GOD does not prohibit it!!

When seeds fall to the ground, few 'take'. Let's focus on quality?
If you or I had been aborted? Ourselves? Wouldn't we NOT be here?
I welcome discussion on this.

God instructed the Israelites to utterly destroy entire nations for the same crime... sacrificing their babies to their false gods. How can we expect to do this and not be severely punished?

However one feels about abortion....It should never be celebrated. It is in fact a death that should give us pause. We still need to learn that lesson.
