"Don’t let fools tell you what to think. Question EVERYONE who wants you to tear down something that works, except for the crucial fact that it can't change human nature, because nothing can. They think something should, and they will break everything and kill everyone until they find it."

"Those enjoying the order of society, who also want to disobey its civility or rules, should not be surprised that others are inspired to violate their rights."

“It is not the business of government to make men virtuous or religious, or to preserve the fool from the consequences of his own folly. Government should be repressive no further than is necessary to secure liberty by protecting the equal rights of each from aggression on the part of others, and the moment governmental prohibitions extend beyond this line they are in danger of defeating the very ends they are intended to serve.” ~ Henry George

“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” - Abraham Lincoln.

“If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, then be prepared to accept barbarism.” ― Thomas Sowell.

Few are capable to think for themselves, for the rest of us it is difficult to know whether something is working or not,. The many are easy to hood wink with a good story, by a well dressed, good looking, good speaker, as long as it's a good story. An example of human nature is, occasionally a narcissist sociopath comes along with a story that most people want to believe, and you get a Hitler or a Lenin who think that they know more than everyone else, and all bets are off.

"Error never shows itself in its naked reality, in order to be discovered. On the contrary, it dresses elegantly, so that the unwary may be led to believe that it is more truthful than truth itself." - St Irenaeus
