Jacob Dreizen suggests there may only be 50K-60K left (out of 200K+) in the Donbas and those numbers are decreasing each week. Once the UAF collapses in the east, Russia has free reign to surround Kyiv and move to the western borders which they are likely to do. I expect the conflict to be over by August

I think it will require a military coup in Kiev backed by Russia-leaning officers to end this thing. I think Russia will own the East and South and the leftovers of the West will be a poor rump state with a sort of fealty to Russia but without Russian money.
