I been thinking about this muslim thing!! If there are so called moderate muslims why haven't they denounced the so called extreme muslims that are doing all the dirty work?? In my view if you read the Qu'ran then you have to be part of the plan............................)=

Well its a little strange how we look at this problem really. We apply Muslim to cultural and practicing individuals.
It's a really confusing way or trying to sort things out. There are Muslim, Christian, and Jewish who don't strictly conform to their Holy book strickly so we don't lump them together with ones that might.

The common frequent conversation generally lacks distinction leading it to be an inefficient way of solving problems. They are void of recognizing disticinion even to degree.

My guess is it's because humans who feel attacked for their beliefs or culture etc. Will be reluctant to give harsh judgment directed at individuals or groups within their said community or who are loosely associated with their beliefs. I think you see that everywhere. If several people adopt a blanket group identity (political, racial or religious etc.) and begin to feel threatened, either arbitrary or seriously substantial, they will hesitate to criticize the more radical or immoral actors within said group, because they fear more the outside threats then the internal conflict. People tend to be more willing to justify or turn a blind eye to the moral delimma presented by those within their group, to be more inclined to offer compassion and or forgiveness to the failures of group members hence give the same generosity to the "other" opposing side. Example: the struggle with being Jewish and critiquing Isreal, being socialist and criticizing communist dictators or being rebublican and critiquing Trump.

Here's an example of a Muslim women giving a critical look at Islam

Wow, what a long winded speech! The fact is this didn't start a year ago but 1000 or more years ago. Your comment about President Trump is laughable for the simple reason the US has never had it so good under a man that is not afraid to tell it like it is. Let me guess, your from Califoola where the fools reside! Right. (=

@rogue I'm from Georgia btw and I hope that doesn't matter, cause that plays right into my theory of blind faith identity protectionism. The ability to discount an idea if it isn't from the "in" crowd you identify with. I also made no comment on Trump's failure or win economically, but that it is very difficult for people who have identified themselves as republicans to be critical of him when he violates a principal they previously held. However, I don't think that is a solely unique problem for Republicans, but a problem of group think that you can find anywhere.

@rogue you're response only confirms my suspicion further. I'll take that as another proof

@J_sophia I'm neither left or right, I vote for the person NOT the party, period.....

@J_sophia, @Rushie Gee, you must be a great friend! People like you we don't need. And as for a waste of skin your a prefect example! Fools are plenty.

@Rushie Well I would assume you don't suffer from group think and I assume that's a good thing. Also I'm really surprised that it was so aggravating that I made a statement that some conservatives lack the ability to critique Trump side by side with Jewish identity and communist identy. Seems to me if you were open minded to the possibility that all "groups" have a tendency to be more willing to except transgressions from their own "group" identy, that someone wouldn't immediately get triggered and start defending their group. It looks funny to me
