Did anyone else notice that if you are rich, your allowed to walk up on a stage and assault someone while the entire world looks on?
Yet people of my poverty level end up incarcerated whether there are witnesses or not, just a mark and someone says that's who did this and your in handcuffs.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Frankly, I don't think it is because Will Smith is rich that he seems to have gotten away with it. I think it is because he is black and a liberal. As one commentator has pointed out, if a conservative white guy like Jon Voight had done that, his Oscar would already have been stripped. I have no doubt that he would already have been arrested and charged with assault as well, rich or not.
