Anyone watch the Peterson / Zizek debate last night? It was better than I expected and they agreed on much more than I anticipated. I’m a huge Peterson fan but also gained respect for Zizek. Considering it was a debate that was supposed to be about Marxism vs. Capitalism, Peterson essentially dismantled Marxism in his intro and Zizek concedes most of his points and certainly didn’t make any significant argument in favor of Marxism. So from that perspective if there is a “winner” in something like this, I say Peterson certainly had the upper hand.
