School freaks over airsoft gun in student's possession...

According to an email sent to parents today and a note on the school’s website, a student brought the airsoft gun, without ammunition, to school. After PSSA testing concluded, another student told a staff member they heard from others the airsoft gun had been brought onto school property.

If they have any brains, they will wish they had handled this more wisely. Or perhaps they are Liberal Flunkies who want a Gold-star and will wear it with Pride.

When I was in school (elementary mostly), if a kid brought such a thing onto school property the parents would have been notified immediately. That zero tolerance bs solves nothing, just more ado and political correctness over nothing. Having your parents getting called into school over a scenario like that was a strong deterrent to keep good behavior.
