@arboristly560 the IDW has been created for all sides of debates to be heard in a call sensible and rational way, Sure some of it might be cringe worthy but that’s the difference between here and the corporate, social media, far leftist shill sites! A good argument will withstand the sunlight, bad ones ...don’t and that’s why they need publicly weeding out it also helps level headed people see where extreme thoughts that we oppose are coming from, that doesn’t translate into us then agreeing but it does help see what is actually driving it!
We’re not snowflakes that need safe Space on this site, and that is the whole point! Challenge, counter and hopefully evaluate and nurture our own understanding. ?

If, by "safe space" you mean a place where you never get views that disagree with yours - this place isn't safe. I've enjoyed many debates on tough topics where ideas were challenged very directly. It's been pretty great.
