I sense a humane intention is about ‘keeping the peace.’ But, grading islam on a curve is an unfair, international pastime. Perhaps to manage the fear of being born an infidel?

Grading on a curve? I didn't make the above sign. I am NOT MUSLIM! If she wants to be a Muslim she should wear the burka, hijab, and follow the man 10 steps behind. Become a slave and be treated less than a man.

Solidarity is for suckers?

Not so much as a damn clue.

someone should hold her down and cut off her labia then stuff her ugly head into a hijab and then stone her within an inch of her life...THEN could claim to be Muslima.

Perhaps a bit too far, let’s hope she educates herself a little more

not to be taken literally sir - hyperbole - ie; exaggeration to make a point@805collins

@iThink I understand, you made a good point and said what we were all thinking, just read a little harsh. No hard feelings brother

"Cut off her labia"... crude...

google Female genital mutilation. You will find it is common practice in the retrogressive culture of islam to hold young women down while cutting off their labia - you are right. It is crude and barbaric and tragic for their young women. The point I'm making here is that the woman holding the sign that says "we all are muslim" does so from the safety of her own culture that is gynocentric for all intents and purposes. In that short statement "we all are muslim" she reveals not only her own ignorance but also an alarming level of indifference to women of muslim culture. @Naomi

I know what FGM is and I get your point. It's just the wording you chose to use to make your point... It's unfortunate. I don't know anything about you, but I can't imagine you would talk the same way to anyone on the street.

typing comments it is difficult if not impossible to convey things like sarcasm, hyperbole etc. If you and I were standing face to face having this conversation I would have said the very same thing I said here. The difference being that in my voice, cadence tone inflection you would have heard and my use of sarcasm and the hyperbole. Yes those words are unfortunate but they are nonetheless accurate descriptive use as to FGM. Now that I think about it I should have said clitoris...maybe labia as well? FGM is barbaric and it is a shocking maltreatment of women in that culture. It really upsets me that women like the one holding that placard obviously doesn't think at all, or if she does then she doesn't care, about the mal-treatment of women of that culture. Yes; I would say the very same things, using the very same words in a person to person discussion.@Naomi

Difficult not to agree with you. I wonder how she explains that idea. Well, I know nuns who think we are all christians. Is it the same?

I don't know any nuns, so I can't relate.

@AZWoman Well I want to apologize about that. (Knowing nuns.)

what do you mean they "think we all are Christians"

@iThink In the eyes of the holy father. They all think that deep down, we know we are christians.
