Ok...hiring Marie Harf made me wonder. Hiring Donna Brazile confirmed it for me. This solidifies it in Concrete to me. Fox News has gone Leftist. Rather than let the man make his statement and debate it or disprove it. Fox shuts down a claim by French official Philippe Karsenty that the fire in Notre Dame was not accidental.

Karsenty explained the routine Islamic attacks against churches throughout France recently and alluded that the media is spreading a “politically correct” narrative that the cathedral’s burning is accidental before being suddenly cut off by Smith. Was he protecting himself or his show? Why not let the man make his statement and remind viewers that so far no proof exists that it was intentional?

What did for me to stop watch Fox News is them deliberately about a topic. After that if I watch Fox then it would be Tucker because he got right while his colleagues failed miserably.

The real problem is the format. If a real conversation about why there is such speculation were wanted (which I doubt in this case) the time constraints of the segment prevents it anyways. There have been numerous arson and attacks on religious properties in Paris, but he would not have had time to go into all of that. TV news just makes itself shallow and useless.

Maria Barf, Juan Williams, Sheperd Smith, now Donna Brazile, yep!

Because it doesn’t help sell heart and anxiety medications.

I feel sorry for the French official. He came on to Fox News in good faith probably thinking that at least this news agency will not peddle the politically correct version that his own country's media is so used to disseminating. This was probably shocking to him to be shut down and censored so rudely as though he's not even worth being on Fox for a few seconds to explain. Disgusting.

Yes I heard the easily exciteable Shep Smith basically tell the guy not to bring up any mention of arson because Fox deals in facts
Ironically not even 20 minutes later he mentioned the possibility of arson but warned that there was no evidence to support it. He's pompous but too prone to hyperbole for my taste.

What better time to burn a national treasure dedicated to Christ than Holy Week? World media attention.

Was the burning of Notre Dame a terrorist act? Most people think it is certainly possible if not probable whether they admit to it or not. Should we foment outrage with nothing more than speculative ideas about the fire? Absolutely not. Wait for the results of the investigation. Then we all can speculate on the voracity of the investigation, the official reports, the investigators themselves. This is the real problem for "authorities". Make a habit of lying to the public pretty soon the public doesn't trust anything you say.
