"Drop in intelligence"? Well, just look at the people that are most into the site you mentioned. The age group that was born into the internet generation. Well indoctrinated in the government school system and the liberal, even communistic, college and university systems, soaked in radio, TV, smartphones, and AI generated pop music, they cannot think, they have a very short attention span, and they are nearly totally self absorbed. I read a book about 20 years ago called The Fourth Turning; a very very good book. It pretty well described where we would be about now. A great book if you haven't read it you should. It talks about cycles of generations; how they degenerate until another generation of heroes arises. We are past due.
