The Perception of our future:

With the current State of political discourse being extremely decisive, and increasingly amplified it could creating an unbalanced tempo of disagreement.

If this tempo continues to increase it's not unfathomable to see a large scale societal split take place.
A large scale split could be triggered by even a small group of individuals(For scale 1% of the US adult population 18 to 44 is still 1.12 million people).

Speaking strictly of your offline interactions does this seem to be a valid concern to people, or do they see this to be an over exaggerated possibility?
