As a Canadian (and conservative) firearms owner and advocate for firearms rights it is becoming increasingly evident that the liberal party, and likely the NDP, are intent on reaching into my safe and taking away my firearms. I'm a member of several firearms advocacy groups, and a paid membership holder of one specifically - but they have a general rule that forbids injection of politics into the discussion. How can we honestly advocate for firearms rights, and protect ourselves from unjustified disarmament without injecting politics into the conversation and specifically advocating for support of the one federal party who doesnt share the same goal of chipping away at our freedoms? Am I wrong to think that the very group meant to give us a voice is also hindering our best shot at not becoming the next New Zealand ??

Glad to hear you fight for gun rights. Someone I know on here who is from Australia is thinking about moving to the US, can't say I blame him. Someone on this site may be able to help you.
