National Review reports that Representative Mary Gay Scanlon (D. Pa.) had her SUV carjacked Wednesday at gun point. Scanlon was one of 125 Democratic sponsors of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which aimed to make it easier for states and localities to replace police officers with social workers and other first responders. Her car was recovered in a matter of hours as the result of a cooperative effort by local police from Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Oh, and the FBI. So, no irony here. Move along.
Just desserts for the soft on crime?
I suspect that a person of lesser status would not merit an instant interstate dragnet such as this.
