Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.This morning at 7:30 the news reported at least 36 tornadoes in 6 states in the Midwest. There were several in central Illinois where I live. In southern Illinois an entire Amazon facility collapsed when hit be a tornado. So far there are at least 110 people dead. I haven't been able to check the news since that report.

We very rarely have those, and up to two relatively weak ones at most. Those living in tornado alleys should not use standard house designs. Concrete domes would offer the best resistance to tornadoes.
