The media’s use of the adjective Hitlerian is a massive and ongoing insult to our intelligence.
The anti-Trump argument that is the most disingenuous, the most utter and purely unadulterated contrived, construction of critical mass crap is the following:
Trump is always saying America First... and that is a slogan that both Hitler and the Klan espoused. Because of that more than one news commentator said that he “has a legitimate concern that the administration will turn Hitlerian."

Any expletives I insert here would need to be drawn out with a long series of trailing consonants spelled in just such a way so as to express in text the requisite vehemence. For example DAAAARRRRRRNNNNNNN Those ____ers!
Necessarily substitute invective of a more profane nature, possibly intimate vague blasphemy and definitely mention goats and underage goats at that.
That’s the sort of expletive necessary to express how I feel about the media’s implementation of the word Hitlerian.

Oh but Trump said that he is a Nationalist!
Yeah, I am aghast and taken aback.
Let’s be honest (that would be novel) Trump isn’t aware of any other connotations of the word “nationalist” whether expressed by DeGaulle or anyone else. Trump isn’t a semantics kinda guy. When he says he’s a nationalist he means he puts his country first… and that’s all.

And as far as white nationalist being the same as the word nationalist… yeah, nice try. And by nice try, I mean pathetic attempt.

If you're concerned about every politician that has ever declaimed "America First" then you've got a helluva lot to be concerned about.

Only globalists make that interpretation. Which is to say that only citizens of countries that are not in the top five subscribe to this definition

The politician you should be concerned about is the one that says America doesn't necessarily have to be first.

Wait... didn't we have someone like that?

Okay... let's look at that. What if America isn't first, who will be first? As far as wielding influence in the world whether via military or economic might, if America isn't first who will assume that mantle?
China or Russia, possibly Iran.
So wouldn't it be better, not just for Americans, but for the world if a country with at least some oblique concerns for and a vague concept of morality and civil rights were to lead?

Let's be concerned about anyone that has any past history or speech that might be in any way, form, or fashion be something akin to something Hitler did at some point in his miserable little existence.

Of course while simultaneously condemning Trump for daring to say "America First" the DNC selected as their deputy chairman a person that was a disciple of Farrakhan. I'm a bit fuzzy on the history thing but if we're looking for symptomatic signs of pre-Hitlerian manifestation isn't Jew-hating one of the big ones?

And doesn’t the fact that Trump is the most pro-Israel president we’ve had for quite some time (and Israel has taken pains to acknowledge this)… Doesn’t that kinda put the kibosh on the Hitlerian thingy?

Of course "America First.” Duh.

This is even more tacit than when the Ayatollah said, "of course Death to America." Btw he said this during the negotiation of the Iran nuclear deal. I dunno about you... but I'd get a little suspicious if I were negotiating with a guy to allow him to develop nuclear weapons that considers the phrase "Death to America" to be something that goes without saying and needs to be expanded upon. Just sayin’.

So since expressing a desire for your nation to be first is Hitlerian or Klansian... is wishing the same for your state, your organization, your children, or your football team a precursor to goose-stepping?

Is Roll Tide the precursor to Heil Tide? What about the Washington Nationals baseball team? Is that a dog-whistle? Is it in fact a dog whistle only German Shepherds can hear? Do their fans cheer for them to hitler that ball over the fence? Are their ambidextrous batters called switch-hitlers?

I am actually amazed that more than one person would actually buy into this utter tripe much less repost it. That this argument is in fact widespread... boggles the mind. It boggles the (insert expletive) out of the mind.

To anyone who makes this laughable argument and pretends to be "concerned" for our nation's safety... well I'm concerned that your hatred for Trump is such that you have become utterly irrational, in fact so much so to the extent that you expect others to abandon any semblance of rationality as well.
