A great analysis of where U.S.-Russian relations are headed.

The Purpose of NATO ended in 1991 when the USSR fell. The war mongers in the alliance feel cheated out of their bloodbath which they worked so hard to plan. So they push the alliance to expand like an empire into the traditionally Russian sphere of influence igniting the fears in every Russian's heart of another invasion from the West. Napoleon then Hitler attempted to destroy Russia from the West. This follows waves of invasion from the East and South from the Mongols, the Muslims, the Turks and then the combined Ottoman Empire. The English, ostensibly and ally of Russia, helped the Ottomans to attack Crimea and the Russians paid dearly to fend them off. First Turkey, a traditional rival of Russia for ports on the Black Sea, joins NATO, then Georgia joins and NATO is wooing Ukraine, where the Russian people began to have a national identity. Would you be nervous if a Cold War rival were expanding influence into all the lands around you? Is it really paranoia when NATO is actually out to get Russia?
