As to Halloween, how 'bout thisun, below?

Reminiscing a bit, H was one of my favorite holidays. I'm from the midwest and late Oct is kinda risky weatherwise. It was cool, tho, when parents early-on actually walked around with the kiddies. I suspect, tho, to supervise how much loot was collected.
Moving to the burbs outside Fisco, CaCaLand my wife really got into it. As decades passed the total number of visits ranged from 80-120+. Lots of variability, little to do because of weather since that is rather mild out here.
Last year, tho, the Ahole Guv'na Newsom proclaimed that the only allowed way to celebrate this community holiday was for houses to place the loot in boxes out on the road -- no greeting at the door. No ooohing about some little tyke who could barely carry her loot bag going goggle-eyed over the full sized candy bars offered. Umm, nope Ahole. You go enjoy yourself with your politico cronies unmasked at a restaurant after telling us we could not do so, ourselves.
No such admonition of our commie overlords this year. But, trust has been destroyed. They will wait until the last minute to screw us around again, feeds their egos. So, FkIt. No decorations, no hand outs.

I was thinking about this sort of thing recently. Mebbe we need a thread, meme, group on seasonal/holiday amusements: only funnies and only about holidays and other times that come and go.
The last, 3rd one, is marginal since there is a political component. But, it is about Thanksgiving and right out of one of my favorite shows, WKRP---. I couldn't resist.

Other Halloween ones are gruesome.
