I really missed this story until a few days ago but yes the Democrats are asking children to make huge sacrifices for a sickly older population. Their policies as usual are hurting the most vulnerable members of society. Ignoring that they only seem interested in power or taking over the government it's clear that assuming the best of intentions that vax mandates will hurt minorities more than any other group. After minorities children have lost years of valuable socialization with lock downs and more will die from influenza than Covid because of lost immunity. The damage to an already weak economy will indirectly kill many working class people. The beneficiaries of their policies have been the upper middle class and rich.

The reason you can't tax the rich as ignorant people like AOC would have us do is their wealth is mostly on paper. They don't disproportionately consume resources in accordance with that paper wealth. What is so hard for people to understand is that all wealth is abstract. Even the value of gold. As king Midas learned you can't eat gold. If you redistribute the paper assets of the rich the goods and services the recipients receiving those paper assets will want are simply not available in proportion to the confiscated wealth.

The abandonment of the working class by liberals is civilization destroying. Without labor gold cannot be turned into bread. In the past the working class would have followed the example of the middle class and got the vaccination. But globalism and corporatism has destroyed working class faith in Washington. The liberal elite seem more concerned about a thug like George Floyd and pronouns than the working poor. What we are seeing is criminal neglect of an essential portion of the population. Why? because the poor and working class are not "liberal" by temperament.
