Should there be a cold snap (like what happened in Texas recently) this winter where water lines break and power lines snap under the weight of ice, would you be ready for it?

I live in a place where we don't worry about freezing water lines because we have freezing temperatures every winter and build so as to prevent this problem. Most of our power lines are under ground, but some are not, and we do lose power on rare occasions due to ice storms in the winter, but it is rarely for more that a day or two, and it is always in isolated areas. When we have people in our church who have lost power during such times, those of us who still have power let them stay with us, or they stay at the church building.

One more reason why it's a good thing to belong to a church.

I don't know what this means but...
