#islam vs #christianity what are the views on end times? Did Islam create a mirror version of Bible Prophecy? [loreleesiemens.com]christianity-end-times
As far as I know they are in no way a "mirror" of each other. Islam teaches that they can force the coming of the end of times through mass murder and the Christian version teaches that God alone chooses when the end of times will begin. Some of the similarities in the mentioning of people like Jesus are because Islam was created nearly 600 years after the Bible was written.
Did you watch the video? It explains the mirror idea. As in its the opposite version.
No the Eschatology of the two differ a great deal. I am no expert in end times Islamic prophecy but fairly educated in fundamental Christian theology in this area.
While there can be little question that Islamic tradition has “borrowed” a great from Christianity’s writings, their end time prophecies differ in enough areas that I would not describe them as mirror images.
Chiefly being that where the Muslim tends to fear the last day because salvation is not assured the Christian fears only running out of time to spread the Word of Christ because they are promised life everlasting
Yea. I have studied the biblical view on end times and just recently decided to look into the Islamic view. If you know a lot about the Christian view your going to be shocked at the Islamast view. Basically the biblical anti Christ is their hero! I did a video about it this morning.
@Boardwine I have been watching @onegodlesswoman and the apostate prophet. their videos are what made me think about looking into it. I was SHOCKED when I learned about it. Although I don't know why, I should be expecting crazy by now
Shi’a and Suni have different end days scenario. Iranian muslims are called “Twelveers” as they are waiting for a lost lmam who disappeared senturies ago. Upon his return there will be a Great War where everyone will be judged by sword. His return can be hastened by creating chaos and unrest.
