3 IDW In the beginning. Join me as I use IDW to retrace my journey of discovery as best I am able to recall. Here will be a place where I will include videos and, if appropriate, information that you can examine. Where questions may be asked. You may find something new to consider. These are stepping stones leading to an undisclosed destination. Steps that create a pathway navigated over the past three years. My pathway:

Looking back to early December 2015 as winter was crawling out of its den in Ontario, Canada, my retirement of several months had lost its luster. I was eager to challenge my fading brain cells with something other than scrabbling at the library or the dance club in town. Retirement had taken me by surprise landing me in a country of change, a new home, euphoria, excitement, fear, a tinge of loneliness, and eventually, too much time on my hands.

I was at loose ends and a new laptop beckoned. I started prowling around finding new sites to browse and read. I took advice from a friend and reluctantly went to You Tube, a place I thought was full of frivolous and useless bits featuring pets, babies and food. Those bits were there, but also within reach were videos of lectures, ideas, reviews and all sorts of other good stuff. This, I thought, is worth spending time with. That day in December, my laptop, the Internet and You Tube would become a hive to return to daily. I heard the hum and felt the impact of connecting. I needed to connect and I did.
Interest, fascination, and fodder to compel the brain landed in a daily heap. A picture and word trove wanting to be sifted through, thought about, and analyzed. By following bread crumbs tossed high in the sky and connecting dots, what unfolded challenged not only my mind but my heart. I was about to look at the world I thought I knew from a different lens. In a sense, I had become a ‘scryer’ (noun) [dictionary.com] looking through a dark screen to discover hidden knowledge or future events. A place of mystery, intrigue, lies and truths taking me through cyberspace riding on a cloud of curiosity. I rode and ride still, invisible airwaves in the pursuit of Truth.

By the time the Christmas glow had faded and 2016 was born, I had poked my nose through an opening that called me into a foreign realm where I felt pulled to explore. I was like Alice, staring into a dark abyss that was not to be ignored. My adventure was in first gear with an unknown destination mysteriously beckoning me to take a chance, tumble head over heels to a place, once held, could never be taken back. Retirement had taken on a whole new meaning.
