Remember the good old days when you could hate someone because they're assholes?
Now you have to like them because of the color of there skin in order to be a good person in modern society.... How racists is that?
I typically like all folks (within reason because some just don’t deserve it) but won’t put up with BS. I refuse to be politically correct because someone needs a tissue and a safe room. Fact is fact... if they can’t handle others feelings or thoughts of them and their actions... oh well.
I don’t have that problem or constraint ...
I never “hated” anyone.
There have been tons of people I despise ...
However, most people, I don’t care about either way ... the fact they seem to exist is puzzling enough.
Racist. Myopic. Reductionist--embarrassingly over-simplified. It's like a drug in the water supply, and people are addicted, and it's spreading like wildfire. PLUS, it's absolutely the WRONG solution to the problem, and that must be self-evident by now.
@Mortaqai, wow. Sounds like there's a lot more to that story. Hard to tell if some of that is metaphor or experience, but it sounds like you felt you had to get rough or get dead. I can see why you felt you had to become more emotive. One side of me wants to know if you lost anything in the transformation. Did you have to give up anything, and was it worth it? Big Star Trek fan, btw.
