I see people on various social media platforms, including this one, bragging that they've gotten banned from one of them. At a certain point, becoming banned from Twitter or Facebook will become somewhat of a fad. It will be something that only the coolest and smartest people get to do and everyone else will aspire to do it as well. Everyone will try to push the envelope as far as the social media administration will let it go. If a comment has to have an offensiveness level 10 in order to lose friends but only a level 8 to permit a ban, the general public will aim to hit 7.5. And if that doesn't work, they'll try 7.9. And then 7.99. and 7.999.
Just an observation.

Doesn't really matter if it's right or wrong, it's Zuckerburgs platform he can do what he wants.easiest way to handle if to find the other platforms and delete Facebook acct.

I'm suspicious of FB, as I have never been more than cautioned yet. I believe that I get a pass as I use the word 'Islamofascism' instead of the M word.

I'm a 58 year old grandma and I seem to upset the weak and needy. Time to teach the young that the world does not revolve around them and a slap now and then would shock then into reality

This got me a month on Facebook. Best I can tell it doesn't violate their community standards. I wasn't even trying to offend anyone except Facebook Nazis.

Good, I'd consider that a mark of intellectual honesty. Not commenting with the aim of getting banned so you can screenshot the "you're banned" email to post on every other platform.
This topic reminds me of Milo. He got banned from everything for the rest of his life. I don't particularly like the guy but I don't think he should've been banned, nor do I think that it was his intention to get banned.
