Began my caffeine ritual this morning with a shining bit of grand idiocy.
[politicoscope.com]immigrants-make-the-country-safer-beto-orourke/

The gist being that the city of El Paso Texas is safer because it is a city of immigrants and asylum seekers. Now I really need some help understanding this. Several "Fact Checkers" dispute the operation began in 1993 called Hold the Line did not effect the crime rate significantly yet the graph show a steep decline starting in 1993. I guess I am to dense to get this or are Beto and the "Fact Checkers"just lying?

I guess if I had Beto's millions and lived in his neighborhood I would be inclined to agree. On the other hand denial of the statistical data is the hallmark of a fool. By the way, the data is purely descriptive, it describes what the data is, a decline in the number of data points.

My daughter lived in El Paso while serving in the Army

Most neighborhoods were various types of dangerous and if you should cross the border against the Army rules and got into trouble in Juárez you were in deep excrement
