One of our left leaning British cousins brought up the KKK. This needs to be addressed. The KKK is non-entity in the US. Antifa or the Black Panther's have more electoral impact.

Some numbers:

  1. In 2016, FBI put the KKK numbers in the US at 3000.
  2. The race baiters at the SPLC doubled that number because 'reasons.'
  3. ~70% of the US is white. The last census put the total US population at 350M. This means there are 245M white people in the US.

These numbers demonstrate that the KKK membership is around 1 in 82K or 0.0012% of the white population accoding to the FBI or 0.0024% of the white population if you were to believe the SPLC.

Now in every 100 people you have one certified asshole (maybe more, but work with me here). That means that out of every 82K people 820 are total assholes. This means out of every 820 total assholes in the US, only 1 is a member of the KKK. This means that even assholes are too smart to join the Klan 819 times out of a 820. Or 409 times out of 410 if the SPLC is to be believed (hint, they are race baiting, lying s.o.b's who declare anyone to the right of HRC to be a NAZI. They declare most small o orthodox churches to be hate groups)

From the standpoint of political power ... this sort of identitarianism is dead. No one wants to be near it because it is disgusting.

Hell, the Smollett case demonstrates that you need to manufacture racism, because the demand for it far exceeds the supply. The identitarian left uses this a bogey man to advance its collectivist agenda. They have been successful in large part due to the media. The numbers above are verifiable. Google is your friend.

Therefore my dear friends on the left ... find a different bogey man. Stop slandering the right with this tired trope. It is slander. All it proves that be it taxes or brexit, if you resort to this tactic, you have lost the argument.

The people trying to convince America, that we have a racial problem, know very well that the real problem is money.
The disparity between haves and have nots, has grown to epic proportions.
The people holding you down are rich people, and they don't discriminate. They use and exploit everyone. A huge percentage of them are sociopaths.
The wealthiest 5% control politics and politicians, who stack every deck, so that the rich get the best of everything, and the little man gets the scraps.
Their lavish, jet set lifestyle, costs real money to maintain. Jets and yachts and private prep schools, don't come cheap.
Their children really do have white privilege, except plenty of them aren't white.
Race is the perfect distraction.
Like the shell game, or a magicians misdirection.
Play the race card. Give them someone to blame their pathetic lives on.
Blame white people.
It's their fault you skipped school, and they made you take all those drugs.
White people make you work for minimum wage. Can't possibly be rich people. Couldn't be because you can't read or pass a drug test.
Fathered and abandoned a bunch of kids ? Who wants responsibility anyway.
Those rich, white liberals out there marching, feel so guilty about their white privilege.
Don't worry, it will pass when they inherit daddies money and start the cycle over, and over.

There certainly are rich sociopaths out there who want to manipulate the state of the world ... for reasons both ill and good, mostly ill. The problem is not the small business people. The issue are the mega rich, like Soros and the nouveau rich tech giants who appear to want to play god, and all they are are children stomping on an ant hill. The bitch of it is that we are the ants

There was never a Klan presence in Britain. Not part of our history.
An attempt to create one failed. 1970s or 1980s.

White people do not hold a monopoly on assholes. I love your analysis of the Smollet asshole.

Agreed, they certainly do not have a monopoly. People are people. That said, finding a back Klansman would be startling. I would imagine the assholes in that segment of the populous join the panthers.

Fermi would be proud of the analysis.

Oh! Why do they choose now for 'Like' no to eorl?!

Absolutely agree. Pioneers described the Platte River as "a mile wide and an inch deep." You can say the same thing about the US catalogue of racist kooks.

I have lived in the South for more than 35 years. I do not know anyone personally that is or ever was in the KKK. However, since wearing a MAGA hat is now akin to being an actual Nazi... ...Nope. I can't even make a joke about that.

This is right out of the Marxist play book. They slander anyone who disagrees with them as a Nazi with impunity. They accuse others of what they are blatantly guilty of themselves and repeat the lie ad nauseam. ...Problem is, this sort of verbal violence will always escalate. There will always be push back... Maybe they are counting on this...

I recall hearing about a speech in the 1950's where someone came before Congress and said something to the effect 'there will be one world government by consent or by conquest'. Why they did not arrest that MF'er and hang his ass from the steps of the capitol building at the time is beyond me. But the common man everywhere is fed up with the Leftist bullshite. There will be blow back unless we can figure out a way to stop that madness. Confront them. Call them on their bullshite. Explain what they are doing. While you still have the ability on social media...

Yes, and in describing all opponents as "Nazis" they minimize the actual, wretched evil Nazis actually were.

There is a biblical passage, Isaiah 5:20, KJV. Maybe prophecy, maybe just general wisdom, but I think absolutely relevant to the times with respect to political and MSM deceptions. And you have to hear this in Samuel L. Jackson's Pulp Fiction charactor voice.
Quote: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good for evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

@purdyday though I flirt with blasphemy, if you are gonna us a Samuel L. Jackson voice, you have to start that verse with 'm*th*rf*ck*r' and end it with 'you got me m*th*rf*ck*r?'. I will now retire for the evening.

I was born and raised in “Appalachia “
I have never know or even heard of anyone who has known anyone in the KKK.

Those numbers reflect what I found when I looked up the numbers in the KKK a year or so ago. I personally know no one that is KKK. I've never met anyone that claimed to be on the KKK. The only one I knew of was in the U.S. Congress and good friends with the Clintons.

One more aside, FBI published this figure in 2016. Do you know, where, or who source was?

when I first found it, it was on a fbi.gov site. now finding it has become harder. The 2016 number is still in Wiki.

@BastiatLives the cynic in me says, why am I not surprised !

@purdyday neither am I. paper is a lot harder to change and burn. people will one day see having your own library as an act of sedition

Great post, got more than one laugh out of that! 😀 Sadly for them, the only audience they cater to is themselves. Self promoted insanity, is the wage and bread that sustains them. But I certainly enjoyed this post, thanks!
