I suppose it is time for me to make a post. If people are going to follow me based on my replies to their posts, let alone send me tokens, not that I have any idea how to use them, the the ego gratification I receive must be reciprocated. Thank you all.

That disclaimer being posted we can now get on to the business at hand. I don't do social media well at all. I rarely watch cat videos or dog videos or fake art videos, or fake news videos, and any of that sort of thing. I've never had a FacePlant account, never played the games of farm or what the hell they did, never had a wall of friends, never did what I considered useless crap. I do knowledge that such statements are my own personal opinions and if you like such stuff, please enjoy yourself, just note that I will not provide such entertainment.

To set the record straight, I am 72 years of age and have had a goodly number of experiences. I will not define goodly number other than to say a whole hell of a lot. I have been the eternal student, started my library collection when I was nine and read what I wanted to read, not what the teachers told me I should read. I am a high school dropout, a college dropout, and yet graduated with honors with a BA in psychology. I almost graduated with an MS in Telecommunications Network Engineering and management but the university had no sense of humor, seems I was not degreed in any bachelorate study and even though I maintained a 4.0 GPA for all of my course work, some forty credit units worth, saw fit to expel me from their school, turn my credits into worthless EDUs and deny me my degree. I actually informally taught a third of the classes. Well, no sense of humor in academia. What a boy to do?

So what to write about? Ah, that's the problem. I could chase the tails of other posters, but why bother? What concerns me is what will happen in Europe, what will happen in America and our fifty first state to the north and our fifty second state to the south, and what happens, in general, in Asia. So many individuals formulate outcomes based on political naritives and yet can't see the demographics destroy such propose outcomes. In matters economic, theory and practical, I have always questioned the conventional wisdom and teaching of the many schools of economics. So much of that knowledge is based on false assumptions. And I may talk about literature and writing. Even at my age I am the aspiring short story writer and novelist regardless that my "message" to the world may be woefully out of date. I have learned a number of skilled crafts in my time on this planet and I may write about my experiences. So I shall let it tonight at that.

No shortage of false assumptions to go around, for sure.

God, don't I wish!
