I'm working on our first newsletter and would love to get your ideas on what to put in it. A promo for our new apps is in it already. What would you like to know?

If it has a "cover" you could pick the cover art from "Cult of Beauty" Group
There's a lot of beautiful old art posted there. (Pick an old piece so no one gets jealous.)

Interview with admin. You’re too much of an enigma!

Hopefully my words will express my character well.

@Admin Are you single? 😉

(can you teach me python?) :3

I would like to thank you for sharing this platform maybe make it easier to share on other platforms like Facistbook. When I get off my latest thirty day ban I will promote you there for sure

Ha, it sounds like "when I get out of jail". Ex-cons are welcome here if they bring truth, facts, and civility.

@Admin It all depends on your version of the truth this is a very subjective subject

Maybe a listing of the newest or most popular groups...a crossword puzzle??

Put in a poll on possible directions for site development. You may have several ideas on how to move forward and what new features you might add. Describe possible features and see what the community wants.

With Facebook doing this, you may want to really get the word out. A lot of people want to get the hell away from Facebook. Just my suggestion.

Yes, this action of Facebook is scary as it not only takes a swing at free speech but ii singles out only white activists. While I don't agree with many of the conclusions of the white nationalists, I am concerned that deplatforming will increase their sense of persecution which often results in undesired consequences.

I'll get back to you later on that...

Membership numbers, site growth, new site improvements, changes/additions to admin/site support list (i.e. - stuff specific to the site like "we just upgraded our hosting servers" ). Maybe have a group highlight every month, where you take a group on here, discuss what it is about, who's moderating, etc. I would also suggest posting any events where members of the site/groups are speaking at some conference or another. Talking about upcoming events might be a good inclusion, but I could see why this might get unwieldy - so that's just an idea.

I've encounter some pushback when telling people about this site with regards to the "dark web" as well. I think the site is easy to navigate. The intellectual, adult and nonPC conversation is great! Let's all keep it going and see where it takes us!

@Guido_Provolone I've tried everything. Especially with the ones that end up in fb jail all the time lol....They'll get it eventually. Until then may the enjoy being sensored. They're missing out!!!

One thing I'm running into is that people panic when they see Dark Web . They fear that they will be hacked and their identities stolen . I've written many messages explaining that IDW is independent and outside the control of Google and Facebook .

I tell them it isn't as nefarious as it sounds, give them my id name and tell them I am on there, look me up.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make people think.

That's a good point. We found that over half of members have not heard of the idw term before and perhaps we should tone it down and explain that it's just a silly name.

@Admin I made the point that the name means that IDW is outside the control of Google and Facebook . A good analogy would be the early days of sprint car racing . Drivers that were not licensed in , or competed in races outside of USAC , were called "outlaws" . This gave rise to the World of Outlaws organization , The Greatest Show On Dirt . USAC now takes a back seat to IndyCar .

How about a short article on the Liberal, Libertarian & Conservatives that have shown class in their dialoging, knowledge & clarity of expression

Wouldn't be about their views but about their social styles and courtesy

I perhaps have a nominate then vote selection

I have encountered classy people from all over the spectrum here

I think I'll start really really slow in the first newsletter... keep it more about site than on mission.
