Question

The Canadian Government wants a ban on all "Assault Rifles" and hand guns.

This is a bad idea considering that legal firearms actually prevent more crime than what is committed with them.

The Church shooting in Texas a few years back was stopped by a man who lived across the street and had a scoped AR-15

Put a round into the shooter's side between the front & back halves of his bullet proof vest

He couldn't have made that shot with a handgun from 30 yards away
