Conservative cogniscenti are praising Robert Mueller for his report exonerating Trump. I have a few bones to pick about that.
Robert Mueller led the FBI investigation that tried to frame Richard Jewell for the bombings at the 1996 Olympic Games.
Robert Mueller was head of the FBI and Comey was head of the investigation that tried to frame Steven Hatfill for the anthrax letter scare in 2001.
In his latest all-star role, Robert Mueller was head of the investigation that tried to frame Donald Trump for colluding with the Russians to steal the 2016 election.
See the pattern here?
In addition, Robert Mueller conducts his investigations with the discretion and delicacy of a tornado in a trailer park. Families bankrupted by legal fees. Pre-dawn raids by SWAT teams and armored vehicles. Prison time for niggling, obscure violations. But that's ok, they're just little people, let 'em squirm.
And all of this just to prove there's no evidence for something that didn't happen.
