Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.We had no reason to go into Iraq in the first place, no strategic goal to attain and no intelligent rules of engagement. When US troops are placed in those situations you can bet your last dollar that it's is only to produce profits for the Military/Industrial Complex that Ike warned us about in 1961. It's quite doubtful that Buy-den will pull US military assets from Syria. He wants to get that pipeline from Qutar through Turkey to Europe. Without control of Syria or cooperation from the Syrian government that can never happen.

It may just be that the U.S., the Empire, is getting so damn broken, as well as the need to cleanse the military in order to control the home front that foreign wars may take a back seat for a bit. The commie takeover of America is running into problems on the Covid front and force, possibly military may be required.
