My kids went to a private, church school, with a lot of scrimping and sacrifice to prevent the indoctrination you are concerned about. But, I don't guess many conservatives are that invested in their children -- the lure of "free" being what it is.

Whether it is necessity or naivete or lack of investment, the deed is done. Having said that, when will electing conservative candidates be a thing of the past like it is here in CA? I thought we were already there until DJW won.
@hoelish56 I do fear for post-DJW. Will there be any Republican candidates with the spine to stand or will we go back to the Bushes, McCain and Romney types of candidates? If the conservatives don't keep fighting back, the leftists will take us down the path you speak of. Unfortunately, there's just a whole of Republicans who benefit from the swamp and would rather be the go-along opposition than to see the swamp drained. So, we have to argue with some of "our own" while we fight the left.
