The logout button in the upper right was removed: Please bring it back!

I know I can still log out through my profile. But I would prefer a button on the menu bar at top.

Will consider it. Thanks for the feedback. We're trying to simplify the page complexity?

It feels creepy to me because the logout for Facebook is similarly hidden, and leaving people logged in is one of the ways Facebook gathers data.

  1. Log into Facebook, then close browser without logging out.
  2. You (or someone else) opens a new browser. Every time you visit a page with a Facebook like button or Facebook moderated comments, the page reports back to Facebook.
  3. Facebook gets a huge amount of your browsing history. ISPs don't get nearly as much because the exact page you visit is usually hidden by https.

Google does a similar thing with gmail, google searches, and youtube videos all linked.

I know you aren't doing this sort of thing, just explaining.

@CautiousDreamer It's back... still thinking about it 🙂

@Admin I see it!

It feels like it belongs there, on this site. A reminder to log off the internet and act in the real world.
