I would like to take a moment to clarify my position in regards to Feminism, as it is a complex and involved topic, and many people whom I love have close ties with Feminism or consider themselves Feminists, so I want to attempt at least to explain my position precisely.

I'll start by stating that I once considered myself a Feminist, I am now not so much anti-feminist but rather a non-feminist.
Its kinda like my position on religion, I am non-religious and Agnostic.
Although I don't subscribe to religion or the belief in a god persay(another very complex subject for another time lol) I am not anti-theist or anti-religion.
However, I will openly speak up wherever I see significant or dangerous wrongs done in the name of religion, and the same goes for Feminism.
When most people criticise "the church" or "religion" that doesn't mean every single individual who is religious or a church goer, and that is known, even if unspoken.
So it is when I criticise Feminism, I am not including every single individual who considers themselves Feminist, I'm criticising particular Feminist ideologies and by extension those extremists who push them.

The religion/Feminism analogy is working pretty well, so I think I'll stick with it, at least as long as it is appropriate.

When a logical and sensible argument is made against a particular issue in regards to religion, then the decent and honest religious folk actually tend to either agree or at least don't argue against, take for example the hot topic at the moment of the Catholic Church and Child molestation, we all know it's wrong, that it needs punishment, and the average Catholic feels exactly the same.
So it should be with Feminism, when one points out flaws and people and/or ideas that have gone to far, or are damaging or just plain wrong, then the average honest Feminist will agree, or should do, if they can't then maybe they are overly attached to the label and/or ideology, much like a fanatical religious apologist.

Most religious folk just want to practice their faith and be left alone to do so, most don't demand that all "infidels must be killed" or that the world should be run by their religious ideals.
Those folk are fine, more power to them.
Some however, do make such calls, and those people are fanatics, they've gone too far, and I, along with everyone else with half a brain, would stand up against that, and so it should be with Feminism!

As I've researched Feminism more and more over the past year particularly, I have discovered many things that have shocked me, and I stand firmly against such things.
Feminism has its own version of "infidels must be killed!"
Some Feminists literally call to "kill all men", many early Feminists did, and some of the new ones do too, Clementine Ford for example.

Some religious folk seek to dismiss you and or discredit you if you dare speak against their religion, calling you a heathen, infidel, unbeliever, and so on.
Feminism does the same, if you speak against Feminism then you are called a bigot, a misogynist, a nazi, alt-right, transphobe, homophobe, rape apologist, fascist, what ever, it doesn't matter if it's completely untrue, they just need to brand you with such terms because then it justifies not only them not having to pay any attention to what you are saying, but also all their colleagues don't have too either.
Because it is an ideology, it's not about listening and considering the possibility that you are wrong, it's just about defending the ideology.

The separation of church and state should include all similar ideologies, including Feminism.
Having Feminists entering into politics with such views a; "the world would be better run by women" is just as sexist as saying "the world would be better run by men."
No, the best person for the job is who ever the best person for the job is, sex doesn't enter into it.
Meritocracy is the goal, and neither sex is inherently higher in merit.

And another point along the same lines, separation of ideology from state should not be just from government, but also from the sciences, just as religion has no place in science, neither does Feminism, you can study religion with science, but you shouldn't allow religious ideology and Feminism to influence science.
This IS an issue already, for example, Feminist ideology has started to have an influence in such fields as psychology, where dangerous and false ideological ideas are being pushed as if it is science, such as in the American Psychological Association's guidelines for men, that clearly and repeatedly states that such things as male privilege and the patriarchy exist(despite no evidence) and that traditional masculinity is damaging.
And of course Feminism has it's assault on biology too.

Many of the primary claims of Feminism are still being pushed even though they've been shown to be wrong or at least have no evidence to back them.
Here's a few examples:

The idea that the world is made up of men being the beneficiaries of a system that oppresses women in "the patriarchy" is not only not supported by evidence, it is also an appalling means to justify demonising men.
If men where the privileged ones, why is the education system not geared towards them?
Why are males failing in school at ridiculously high rates?
Why are by far the majority of workplace related deaths male?
Why are by far the majority of victims of parental alienation male?
Why are by far the majority of prisoners male?
Why are by far the majority of casualties in war men?
Why are by far the majority of homeless people male?
Why are by far the majority of people doing dangerous and physically demanding jobs male?
Why are by far the majority of victims of violent crime male?
Why are by far the majority of perpetrators of crime male?
Sorry, This system is not geared towards benefiting men and oppressing women.

The idea that masculinity is inherently toxic and that traditional masculine qualities(aggression, stoicism, competitiveness, assertiveness, risk taking, etc) are detrimental or damaging is bullshit.
They can have some negative effects if not integrated correctly, BUT, exactly the same with the opposite qualities(timidity, emotional, cooperative, agreeableness, caution etc.)
Masculine traits are portrayed as negative, YET the hypocrisy is made painfully clear when women display these masculine qualities, because those women are praised by Feminists.

The gender paygap is bullshit, with averages showing that women under 25-30 actually make more than men of the same age, and by the ages 25-30 most women on average decide that having children and spending time with their children is more important and fulfilling than work, as just one of the major contributing factors as to why women make less than men, on average, after that point.

"Believe ALL women" is bullshit.
Men AND Women have the ability to lie, and speaking from personal experience, the worst liars I have come across in my life happen to be women, but I've definitely met male liars too.
Women can and DO lie about being sexually assaulted and/or raped, among plenty of other things, and lives have been ruined by such lies.

The "men are perps/women are victims" narrative in regards to Domestic Violence is extremely biased and completely ignorant of the full complexity of the problem that is Domestic Abuse, it is not only unsophisticated and shallow, but it's complete denial of a full half of the problem is only contributing to the problem.
Domestic Abuse is not a gendered issue, it is a relationship issue, and needs to be addressed as such.

Fighting in the name of such falsities only furthers inequality, not the opposite.
Even that, the base claim of Feminism, which is supposedly equality, if that was truly so, why then is the name Feminist even required?
Why not just be pro-equality?
Why not Humanism?
What can standing up for Feminism achieve that standing up for equality cannot?

An observation I've heard reference too is that it is very interesting that in Feminist ideology, the force for good is represented by the female: Feminism.
And the force for evil is represented by the male: Patriarchy.
If that ain't widening the gap between the sexes, inviting tribalism by demonising men and glorifying women, then I don't know what it.

What is also interesting, telling and sad, is the Feminists hatred for Men's Rights Activists.
Apparently it's a virtue to stand for Women's rights via Feminism, but it's evil to stand for Men's rights via the MRA movement?
The MRA's are literally fighting for the equality of men.
That the Feminists are so angry about that is enough alone to show the hypocrisy of the Feminist claim of being pro-equality.
If you are pro-equality then you would have no issue with a roughly Feminist equivalent group but for men ALSO standing for equality.
If the Feminists where actually about equality, then there would be no need for MRAs anyway.

I am pro-equality.
I voted yes for gay marriage.
I am against arsehole men.
I am against arsehole women.
I am not a MRA.
I am not a Feminist!

Does that mean I am in opposition to women's rights?
Absolutely not.
It means I'm equally for women's as well as men's rights.

Does it mean I am in opposition to those who call themselves Feminist because to them it only means equality?
No, of course not.
There are Feminists whom I love and respect.
Just as there are Christians and many other religious folk whom I have much love and deep respect for despite me not adhering to, or indeed me being critical of their religion.

I just think that if we really want to address inequality then we need to drop the us vrs them tribalism, we need to get sophisticated about this and look honestly at the problems holistically, rather than over-simplified, unilateral, biased, catch-all "solutions", we need to look at the full complexity of the challenges of equality, as equals, if we are going to make real moves forward in regards to equality FOR ALL!
Because that's what equality actually means, not just equality for one group, but for everyone.
And that's doesn't mean that everyone is the same, or that everyone is equally good at everything, everyone is unique, with different qualities and strengths, but they are all of equal value to society etc.

As I said before;
What can standing up for Feminism achieve that standing up for equality cannot?

All good there, whatever works for you. I agree, just fighting for equal rights is important. Same with justice, I believe in justice only and ignore the relatively new term "social justice".
