I've always been conservative and believe in less government as opposed to more government. The first time I saw Brandon Straka's video regarding #WALKAWAY I was moved to join the discussion. So I couldn't help myself.

Jim the leach on our talk morning radio. I always thought that as long as you are not hurting someone else with your actions that it was basically okay for what ever as long as it is within the law. He defended the smoking ban. It is OKAY to ban smoking from restaurants. I GET IT. Smoking is nasty and it stinks. I am currently trying to quit. BUT... The dive bars I was going into in Springfield, IL (At the time) are the type the likes of Leach and the rest of the non-smokers would never step foot in anyway. Why Impose YOU OWN WILL On The Rest Of Us. ??? ANYWAYS After that.. I knew something was wrong with my FORMER party. The longer I looked and listened, the Demturds, grew away from me. I AM PRO-UNION, PRO-GUN, It is none of my business what a "Grown Adult Woman" within legal age does with her body. I AM AGAINST ABORTION but not willing to force my belief on others. I AM A MAN.. I can never know what it is like to be in that type of situation. Open borders, all the free give me's, lack of respect for the law in general, Crazy eyes cortez, You name it - IT IS NOT FOR ME!! I own a small business, I am pro-gun, I am against bigger government, against the "Tax and Spend" mentality, against infanticide, and currently that makes President Trump my leader. Do I agree with everyone of his actions and everything he says and does... OF COURSE NOT.. But the alternative was much scarier.. THE RUSSIANS DID NOT CONVINCE ME TO VOTE FOR TRUMP !! Hillary did !!!!

I became disillusioned when i was in the military during the clinton era. Military spending was cut one year and someone decided that freezing promotions across the armed forces for paygrade e-3 to e-4 was the best place to save that money. Every day on the news during the shutdown for a budget, the news was reporting how many pizzas the legislators were ordering because they were so busy trying to get a plan together, that they couldn't go home for dinner. E-3 is the 3rd lowest paygrade in the armed forces. I happened to be up for promotion the day after the freeze was initiated and i had a hard time going about my life and duties in the dc area without thinking "this is how you treat your up and comers"or"theres another asshole that probably just got a raise. " "Watching as nco's and commissions gained rank around me did not help. Trust me, being kept from going from 600$ a month to 900$ a month for a year because of politics is a big deal for a 19 year old private living in washington dc. That was the lesson that taught me the game is rigged and the little guy pays for it every time. No party affiliations. Constitutional allegiance, served under a hippocratic oath.

I hope the WalkAway movement continues to grow. I don't have alot of time at the moment to go into detail, but I do come from a long line of Democrats, just about every family member was/is a Democrat and I rebelled against such political ideaology at a young age. I considered maybe doing a stand alone post sometime on that topic.
