From the silly observations department: Ever notice that if a pedestrian is walking in front of you and sees you they actually slow down?

I try to be mindful that automobiles are 1-ton, 60-mph battering rams of steel and plastic, and that I'm a 230-pound meatsack. I do my best to stay out in front of them for as little time as possible.
