Part of the problem with this conflict is the refusal of people in the US to actually look at the history. You may support a jewish state in (lets call it the Holy Land) HL, for short, however the Palestinian people are already there. They didn't kick out any jewish people. They didn't persecute any jews. The place was peaceful with a mixed population ! The British were developing the place as "Mandated" by the League of Nations. If not for the Second World War the place would likely now be a major tourist hub with a mixed population of Jewish Christian and Islamic citizens.
WW2 obviously upset the apple cart .... with massive immigration of European Jews upsetting the demographics and due to the insistence of it being a "Jewish State" the locals were not too pleased. It was a European (infact Eastern European) colonisation. People were kicked out of their homes by Russians Poles Ukrainians ect ect ... before you take any religious context into account.
The "God gave it to the Jews" bullshit should play no part in any serious attempt to bring peace to the area. The religious aspect will not go away .... so the adults have to provide a secular solution that respects both traditions. DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH.

If the British were still powerful enough I think they could make it work but not now ... now we need to confront two rogue forces .... right wing Israel and extreme Islam .... it ain't looking good for any kind of short term resolution .... but knowing the history and trying to be honest broker might help.

If you are not an Israeli citizen I don't see how this matters. This whole "JEW HATING" crap is really disgusting. The use of the term "antisemitic" is used to describe anyone who disagrees with Israel or Jews. The use of the accusatory term "antisemitism" on a mass scale was first seen in the earliest communist training doctrines in Russia to divide and demoralize.

People are smarter than this. They see through the 50+ years of occupation and land theft. They see through the devaluation of the Palestinian/Arab humanity and the literal acceptance of Jewish supremacy as justified and righteous.

In Israel, Christian churches are restricted. Since December 29, 1977 it is illegal for missionaries to proselytize Jews. Missionaries are liable to five years’ imprisonment for attempting to persuade people to change their religion, and three years’ imprisonment for any Jew who converted.

Israel has very little care or concern for any of these people fawning at their feet in adoration here. This is not about hatred. This is about bringing people to reality. Israel brings no benefit to western nations other than more wars and increased terrorism
