It seems that American liberalism (not classic liberalism) -- including the Democratic Party, the educational system, social networks, social (in)justice warriors, & the "news" organizations -- all are committed to judge people who look like & think like I do negatively. They attempt to brainwash others into believing: white males are evil, oppressive, & racist; there are not 2 sexes, there is no "good" we all should point towards, and violence is to be tolerated as long as the perps believe the preceding beliefs.
In speeches, posturing, protest signage, & platforms, they claim to be against "hate," "fascism," "bullying," "judging," oppression, and bigotry -- yet they actively promote all of these kinds of beliefs and behavior: IF a person is a white male, IF a person believes there are only two sexes, IF people want to have patriotic displays, IF a person believes we have a common Good to strive for, IF a person believes race should not be a factor in judgement, or IF individuals should be allowed to make most of their own choices.
Academic textbooks freely use terms like "the white man" did this or that atrocity. I promise I haven't enslaved anyone! I even married outside my race. How bizarre that the "liberals" (who are anything but liberal) are allowed to judge a whole race of people for things that a few did. What did the Macedonian farmer in 2019 have to do with Cortez or slave-holders from centuries ago? Why don't they mention -- and celebrate -- how slavery was abolished in a historically quick fashion in the U.S.? Or conversely, why don't they hate those who look like the Aztecs (who were violent oppressors) or the Barbary Coast pirates (who enslaved many)? Are they simply hypocrites? Or just racists?

Isn't it ironic what people see and do when indoctrinated into a political cult. According to Dr Arthur Deikman's, "Cults form and thrive not because people are crazy, but because they want a meaningful life and they want to find a home. The first motives may be constructive, but the latter exert a corrupting effect, enabling cult leaders to elicit behaviour directly opposite to the idealistic vision with which members entered the group." To me, American Liberalism (or leftism) has become victim to their own corruption, unlike conservativism, they see politics as their religion, their home.

Reminds me of the Heaven's Gate cult. Everyone joined up seek out an eternal existence, and they tried accomplish this by killing themselves.
Well now that you've arrived at Galts Gulch, have a seat, take a breath and watch them desperately tear themselves apart. No host at the Oscars because a black man joked about wanting to be a grandfather someday. The trans movement undermines the gays. The Greenies now want to eliminate PETA's cows. And they've lost all pretense about defending the value of life. Another fine mess they've gotten themselves in.

The lights in NYC have not gone out yet. But all the evidence points to our civilization shutting down. John Galt has obviously recruited the entire Canadian Oil Industry and Quebec pull-peddlers have passed the "anti dog eat dog" regulations. Wish there was someplace to hide out in the coming collapse.
If your talking about people in the US ( or probably anywhere in a "western society" ) it's more likely that they were never taught what made that society succeed to a point where the criticism they now level against it is possible without being jailed or worse.
