Prince Philip to ride in Land Rover hearse for final journey– first look at Duke’s vehicle

Buckingham Palace confirmed the ceremony, which will take place on Saturday at 3pm, will feature many of the Duke's own designs and requests. This will include his custom-made Land Rover. Philip started work on the bespoke Land Rover Defender TD5 130 chassis cab in 2003, which was the year he turned 82, and finished it when he was aged 98 in 2019.

The vehicle will carry Philip's coffin in a slow procession from the state entrance of Windsor Castle through the grounds to the west steps of St George's Chapel.
