Do you believe that in 2024 we will have the youngest 17-18 Latino voters in the history of the United States? They will be good and ready to BLUE my vote AWAY 🤓

That may be true. However, there is one thing the Leftists have forgotten:they are counting on loyalty from those they brought over illegally. The cure for deceit is truth. They are being used. We could learn from Sun Tzu. Know your enemy and know yourself. In this case you should also know the tool of your enemy better than they know this tool. Most of the Mexican people coming across illegally are seeking a better life, but that doesn’t mean they are open to selling their souls. They also tend to be very religious. They don’t believe in the causes the leftists are trying to jam down our throats. We need to befriend them and help them understand the policies of the left and those of the right. Most of them don’t believe in murdering babies, perversion of the holy estate of marriage or kicking God out of public life. As we get to know the, we’ll find a lot of other commonalities. We can use these to inform them how the platforms of the left fight against their beliefs and only want to use them to gain more power.

Last night Steve Turley made a similar point. He noted that California is a good example of what happens initially when many illegal Latino immigrants come in and vote Democrat, but Florida is an example of what happens when they have been here long enough to really understand what the Democrats are about and start voting Republican. I'm not yet entirely sure what I think about that analogy, but it certainly seems to make some sense.

@KeithThroop Good point. I live in Florida and a large percentage of our Hispanic population is of Cuban origin. Although it is far more difficult for me to understand Cuban Spanish than Mexican or Castilian or even Venezuelan Spanish, I have formed relationships with some Cuban people that has put me in a position to understand their hearts. Not all of them agree, but we stand a better chance of keeping our republic free is we seek to understand them and help them understand what made America great.

That having been said, one of my closest neighbors surprised me during the last election. He is a devout Hispanic Catholic retired military man married to a German woman for over half a century. He was adamant about voting for Obiden, because “we have to get rid of Trump.” I even told him about Obiden’s plans WRT abortion and the homosexual agenda. He still was glad to vote for Obiden. I guess devout Catholic doesn’t ALWAYS mean placing God’s values over our preferences, but I still believe the best way to influence the majority of those coming in is to understand them and then help them understand our republic and the 2 major party platforms.

Oh yeah.... we've had similar things here in Australia...

No I am not of the same opinion at all. I worked with Latinos those who come from Cuba or chili tend to go conservatives the others from Central America are heavily involved in union jobs and very attached to union ideology. Look who hires them. Like hotel and restaurant jobs are mostly Latinos including in the management and ownership sector. They don’t want to lose their labor. The unions are training these ppl as they are crossing Do they really give a rip about the republicans or religion for that matter. They go to church on Sunday and pay they due to unions 99% of the time. Reality check. We are giving our country away and paying them to keep it. Oh well. C la vie!!

@neverover Did I say you were of the same opinion? No
Did I mention you at all? No
Seems to me your comment starts off saying one thing then ends up saying the opposite.
My comment.... addresses the similarity of things that happened here in Australia.
We have had many migrants vote for the government simply because they let them into the country... no other reason... I've spoken to many of them.
Labor fosters such loyalty and as such enables migrants/refugees/illegal-migrants to stay and get citizenship.
