Didnt we buy them a military?

The U.S has given Israel $134.7 billion(to this date) for military assistance. Sounds a bit much to me when our government is arguing about $5 billion for a wall to protect our borders.

@FriendlyHappa , could you please include total cost of US military in general and military bases and operations conducted abroad from 1973 onwards - just to have the number in the context? for example as of March 2013, the total cost of the Iraq War - started in 2003 - was estimated at $1.7 trillion.
BTW do you aware how much cost deployment US military in Germany, Japan or South Korea?

@IvanYu As far as I know the US military spending is $686 billion ish, couldn't find an exact number for spending since 1973 for operations abroad. In terms of South Korea it costs around $1.8 billion to keep troops there? Though they do pay half the cost to at least pay for SK citizens working on base. Japan we pay around $5.5 billion to keep troops there with Japan paying $4 billion for variety of base-related issues. Couldn't find anything on Germany expenses, I would like to know though even though we should've pulled out of there long ago. And as of August a bill was just passed to give Israel an annual military aid package of $3.8 billion per year for the next 10 years. Personally I have my own biases against Israel, mostly because I believe that the US has become their lapdog and we come running whenever they call but they do need our assistance considering they are surrounded by nations that hate them. Do you think we should pull all troops from Germany, SK, and Japan? Also please correct me if I'm incorrect about anything stated above.
