"We are born to live. From the moment we are thrown into the universe, we breathe, eat, drink, procreate. It is what we do as living organisms. But why would one procreate, let alone find a reason to stay alive, without something to stay alive for?

We as humans don't stay alive for the sake of survival, but rather for things that bring purpose; religion, art, music, love. in endless oblivion of darkness and space, humans are the only species primitive enough to care, You must do what you love.

The best things in life will always end in conflict, that is why we humans are primitive." -George Miller - Joji - Filthy Frank

I do not see how “caring” is “primitive”. I see a connection between caring (cathexis, vested interest, morals, intentions, loyalty, reverence) can lead to conflict. But I do not see conflict as primitive. I see conflict to be adaptive in its goal. It is in this environment of conflict that we find selection of the most fit for posterity

Life is relatively short and we all go around once, so I'd agree that those you mentioned above (music, art etc) give meaning in our lives and make life itself more interesting.

Through evolution the drive/desire/urge to procreate is pretty strong. We have a natural instinct to see that our genes survive.
