In the 1960s, boys loved model cars. Here is Bob Tindle's Orange Crate in the front at 1/25 scale. If you look closely, you'll spot three cars that were designed by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. The maroon one ifs familiar, but I cannot place it.

L'il Coffin I believe. Those are awesome. I built tons of model cars as a kid. I wouldn't mind getting back into the hobby but I just don't have the time.
Collect 1/18th scale diecast instead. Like this one. Herb McCandless's 1968 Dodge Hemi Dart Super Stock. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Moparfest one year. A very nice man and humble despite being a Legend.

@Stratslinger Cool. I have around 120 mostly Mopar drag and muscle cars. Some Fords too mostly Mustangs. Cheers.

I was a big fan of Big Daddy’s work in the sixties. Spent my allowance on slot cars and CarToon magazine.

I haven't thought about these in years.

I am about as far as you get from a gearhead, but even I had model cars and a huge collection of Matchbox cars. (Remember when they were superior to Hot Wheels?)

Is It This One?
