Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.First, i speak as the grandfather of 7 young children not as a primary caregiver nor as a teacher (other than Sunday school).
It appears that a lot of people are focusing on the “baby sitting” function of public schools. If that’s all it is, I’d see this as a positive thing. However, the real problem is that we are pretending to be educating our children while in fact we are just shifting the government indoctrination. We are pretending that the children must live a fearful existence. We pretend it will just be a couple of weeks that they will wear these magical masks and stay away from people and then we keep it going indefinitely. If the public schools still have valuable education to offer worthy of what we pay for them, then they need to start delivering it or stop charging us (Taxes).
The facts are clear and they have been known for almost the entire time of this foolishness: with very few exceptions, normal healthy children are not the ones affected by this virus and they are not the vector for the virus. Therefore, it is well past time to stop pretending any of the school closing serve any purpose other than political and fear mongering.

I agree completely and very well stated. I’m actually more concerned about small businesses and churches being allowed to reopen than I am about the government run public school indoctrination centers.
@Andyman Absolutely. The intentional damage being done to all sectors of our society was a well planned coup. The power hungry and the fearful sheeple have enabled a bloodless coup that installed a puppet at the helm of the our nation along with state despots who abuse the very people they were elected to serve.
The churches that have chosen to misinterpret Romans 13 (out of context) have shown their loyalty is to gov over God.
Romans 13 wasn’t penned to tell Gods people that He had abdicated the throne. It was penned to help people not to fear those placed in positions of authority with the purpose of making their lives better. God puts good and evil people in these positions according to His plan (to guide or discipline those He loves). Whenever the civil authorities, government, etc... demand you obey them instead of God, it is actually sinful not to resist. (eg. Daniel told not to pray, Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego told to bow down to the image of the king, Peter told not to teach about Jesus any more, etc.... all defied the authorities and were ready to pay with their lives). We are called to follow God. My faith is in Him; Not government, Not Fauchi, Not a silly mask nor “social distancing” and not a vaccine against a virus that is somewhere between a common cold and the annual flu.
