Do you know what sounds like a cult? Sex workers (NOT FORCED ONES). I said it. Its not out of jealously. Its out of sympathy. Sympathy for the people that show up on cam or show up to a man's bed side by FORCE. I watched many mini documentaries and interviews about woman that are kidnapped and sex trafficked or beat, raped - all while being forced to go on cam so their "owner" can make a profit on them. Sex workers that CHOOSE to be sex workers don't want to talk about that - they don't want to know the evil that lures in the same industry that they work in. I interpret this to mean that they simply do not care. They are jealous, narcissistic people - double standards holding, materialistic demoralised individuals that only want to claim victimhood when they don't point out TRUE victimhood of sexual exploitation. This happens to children and adults. Happens to underage girls and boys. Happens to men and woman. We can't easily distinguish victims anymore because of the immoral acts that we allow today. We make it to the point where there's an incentive to furthur exploit individuals to gain a profit. Stand beside the true victims.

It’s telling that the word “prostitute” has been replaced by the sanitized term “sex worker.” It’s part of push by woke-progressives to make prostitution more palatable, although no one in their right mind would wish this trade on their daughter, their sister or their mother. It exploits women for profit, so it seems strange that woke feminists and anti-capitalists are it’s biggest cheerleaders.

In Vancouver, Canada, leftists were successful in establishing a public prostitution memorial in front of a city church, which glorifies hookers — in typical revolutionary language — as leaders of the struggle for equality. An odd role for these disadvantaged women — often plagued by trauma, abuse, addiction and emotional issues — who are severely challenged in simply caring for themselves.

That is absolutely disgusting

@Belles777 It’s totally weird, because in the 1980’s, prostitutes dominated that neighbourhood, resulting in crime, violence, noise, litter and general disorder. The city spent hundreds of thousands installing traffic islands at intersections to slow nightly gridlock from johns in the cars.

Yet today, the prostitutes at the centre of the chaos are being reimagined as hero’s.

I've known a few that started off stripping and predictably ended up prostituting. Most had some history of abuse, or spiralled down that path from drug use, or were just severely depressed and had no sense of worth. All of them used to get a vacant, distant stare to them, like they were dead inside already. Its very sad watching people down that path...
Whilst I don't have a problem with it morally, I could never contribute to the damage it does to the person, by using their 'services'.
I know some can seperate emotion from sex, and are unaffected in that regard. Still, it ends up giving them a warped sense of healthy relationships.
