While I try to stay in the center as a rule, I fear where this country is going. The left has gone nuts. The right is somewhat silent. Unfortunately, what the left is doing is constitutional even if I don't like it. Those who want to maintain democracy, need to step up to save what we have that is worth saving, while making the changes necessary in a positive direction. I hear many criticizing the left for what they are doing, but read the excerpt from the Declaration of Independency I listed below. If those on the right don't stand, the left will win, and do it constitutionally.

From the Declaration of Independence:

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are … endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights…. That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men…. THAT WHENEVER ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT BECOMES DESTRUCTIVE OF THESE ENDS, IT IS THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR ABOLISH IT, AND TO INSTITUTE NEW GOVERNMENT LAYING ITS FOUNDATION ON SUCH PRINCIPLES, AND ORGANIZING ITS POWERS IS SUCH FORM, AS TO THEM SHALL SEEM MOST LIKELY TO EFFECT THEIR SAFETY AND HAPPINESS. … Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed.
